This seems to be St. Moritz/Momentum's attempt to produce a lower priced watch for their product line and I think they largely succeeded.I had a Momentum dive watch on my Amazon "wish list" for a couple years and never seemed to get around to buying one. Well, I've already got divers watches with both quartz and automatic movements, so I looked at their other offerings and found this one. The "field watch" has a lot going for it.The case, at 44mm, is big, but not too big for most men. The crown at the four o'clock position (with crown protectors as part of the case design) reduces it's perceived size a little bit. The crown itself is a screw-in crown and the 200 meter water resistance looks genuine. The dial is easy to read with big numbers, hands and batons. This also helps its lume in the dark - which, by the way, is excellent. The big numbers and wide hands are easier to see and the lume is very good, lasting several hours after the lights go out. The Japanese movement seems a good one and in the month I've had this watch, it was only six seconds fast. That's certainly better than average for a quartz movement. There are a couple of criticisms, though. Firstly, in making a watch that is lower in price, they omitted some things. There's no unidirectional bezel and I don't miss that - it's billed as a "field watch", remember? It's obvious that they cut a few manufacturing steps out of the process. The case itself has a lot of tooling marks on it and obviously, the vibrate or shot blast steps were omitted. It's not really bad, but it's obvious they left something undone. The second hand advances precisely...right between the second/minute marks! It's not even close. Grrr! Aggravating! But, I have cheaper watches that hit the marks exactly and more expensive ones that don't. It's not a big factor, just a minor annoyance. The other strike against it is the NATO-style nylon-fabric strap. I dislike them because they look cheap and they're not as good looking on a watch of this size. Personally, I purchased a silicone band from Clockwork Synergy that looks and feels a lot better to me Five stars considering the price. It would be better if it had a sapphire crystal, which is an option from Momentum, but for under $100 I don't think you could find a better made watch. I was very impressed with the quality, blows away other watches in it's price range, and competes with watches costing several times more. The movement is very solid, the seconds hand hits all of the markers, something very rare in a quartz watch, I own a Victorinox watch that retails around $600 that doesn't accomplish this. Has really good lume. The case feels solid, and with the screw down crown (which is signed by the way, another rarity in watches below $200) and 200m depth rating, it's rugged enough to go anywhere. I was very, very impressed by this watch, and will definitely be considering Momentum watches for future purchases. After doing weeks of research for a mid-price watch, I stumbled across this company and watch. From my investigation, it seemed like a high-quality watch for a low price and I was very excited. When I first got the watch, it seemed to work well. However, after a few months of use, I began to notice a manufacturing defect: the crown would continuously get loose. At first, this wasn't a huge issue, and I would merely rescrew the crown every time. Eventually though the watch got exposed to water while the crown was loose and the face of the watch began to experience condensation. In order to get this resolved, I reached out to Momentum.Throughout my entire life, I have never experienced such a horrible customer service experience. Throughout the entire process of trying to get it looked at and repaired, Momentum was ambiguous, vague, and aggressive. I was constantly redirected between Momentum and a third party company that facilitates their repairs.Overall, BUYERS BEWARE! This company is incredibly difficult to work with and if your watch has a single problem (which seems decently likely), the company will refuse to work with you. I deeply regret choosing this watch, and I would recommend turning your attention to a different company that values customer support and high quality products.I had a collection of vintage watches, mostly Rolex. that was stolen and vowed that I would never pay more than $500 for a watch. Saw this Momentum and since my eyesight at over eighty is not great loved the large face and the clear simple large numbers. For telling time accurately (really, what else is a watch for besides an ostentatious display of wealth) It's simply great.Very rugged feeling watch. Very simple and clean design, easy to read, and the screw down crown is awesome. Have not tested it in water yet, but I think it should do fine. The movement is good too. For the cost I am very impressed. I can see why some folks don't like this NATO style strap, but it is easy to replace with any strap you like. The case will work with anything.perfect size....ledgibility is great ....strap better than the average nato.Time will tell on durability.Have the watch only 2wks.Needed to be able to read at a glance. Not at all ‘clownish’ as someone reportedThe watch is fantastic, only fault is the lume, it could be better even at the price point.Bought this as a weekend only type of watch and have been completely happy with it. Looks good, easily readable, and has just enough chunk to know it's there. Also have not had to readjust time at all due to lost minutes or seconds. Strap has been comfortable with no fraying even after a full summer of outside use. Thinking of purchasing another as very reasonably priced for a reliable watch.Love this watch.Hope the strap lasts.J' ai la même montre mais de couleur verte et maintenant j' aurai la bleue..J, adore cette montre..Muy buen relojSuper bel aspect
