I really liked the styling and the build quality.Unfortunately the winder turns to slowly and would not keep my watchs running.This is the second mechanical watch winder I've ordered from Amazon. After acquiring a few more watches, I needed a winder with a few more winding slots as I outgrew my previous 2-slot winder. I also liked the lacquered wood look, though, for the price, I wasn't expecting the highest quality. After using this winder for a couple of months, I'm happy to say that this is an excellent buy at $150: the case looks nice, the motor is extremely quiet, and you get quite a bit of storage space (including enough space to store several watches that don't need to be wound).PROS:- I like the overall aesthetic of this winder. At this price point, most of the winders on Amazon use a piano black-like plastic, but the lacquered wood look is a much nicer look, in my opinion. It's not completely obvious to me if the material is real wood or simply a veneered/printed plastic, but it actually looks nice and is extremely smooth.- The build quality is quite good, again, especially considering the price point. The unit that I received had no obvious flaws in its construction, the lid opens and closes nicely (though a "soft close" feature would be a nice addition, perhaps on a more expensive model), and the motors are extremely quiet. I leave this on my nightstand right next to my bed, and I can't meaningfully hear the motors when they kick in. The knobs are a bit stiff and "clicky," for lack of a better description, but are passable. The velvet-like lining is a bit tacky but, again, standard at this price point, and it looks nice enough.- Like most winders at this price point, the manufacturer made the absolutely awful decision to include a blue LED to "light" the case. I personally think this looks terrible, but your mileage may vary. Fortunately, you have the option to turn the LED off, which I did immediately. The cheaper winder that I have didn't include this option, leaving the winder look a bit trashy, in my view. I wish a plain white LED was included rather than a blue LED, but having the option to turn it off is a nice touch.- There are several different winding modes available, though you don't have the ability to precisely control the number of turns per day. I wouldn't expect that kind of feature at this price point, but something to be aware of. All of the modes seemed to work as described in my relatively brief testing.CONS:- The included manual is usable though does include a few typos. Having tried a lot of Vine products - many of which appear to come from random Chinese factories that I've never heard of - I'm used to this, but a higher quality translation of the manual material would be nice.- I don't consider this to be a con, more something to be aware of: this thing is quite large and has quite a footprint. I've got large nightstands, and this winder takes up a substantial portion of the space on my nightstand. Make sure you've got enough space to house this big boy.All told, I'm quite happy with this winder, and it works just as well a few months after I started using it as I did when I first started. The winder is well-made as a whole, and the motors are extremely quiet (and have remained so thus far). Obviously you're not going to get the highest quality at this price point - nicer wanders from non-no-name brands cost hundreds if not thousands - but, at this price, I'm totally happy with this winder. Recommended!I really like this watch winder, it looks good and is quiet. The rotation mechanisms ae quiet and move smoothly. The fit and finish are very nice and really showcase my watches. It is nice there is additional storage for up to 6 additional watches. With the current $20 coupon this is a good deal. I would buy again. 5 STARS
