My G10 (NATO, Zulu) strap collection was in need of a new host, and I wanted to go more OG Bond, can't afford a Rolex milsub, didn't want a battery, and did want a GMT (24-hour, timezone) hand more than a dive bezel…and this Rolex GMT Master homage was the ideal match. I'd choose any of the Paganis again.Classy presentation box, charcoal grey suede-touch with magnet clasp. Lots of branded documents, lots of protective flims, branded cleaning cloth. Eminently giftable. Excellent fit & finish, looks great under magnification, even the internals through the exhibition caseback. Someone really paid attention to design and manufacturing details. Except whoever left blueing on the crown insignia — took alcohol to remove, but came off easily. Funny. Sensitive autowind — I had let it run down before unboxing, and gentle unboxing wound it up enough to run. Internet says probably unidirectional autowind, which would be half as efficient; but it's also hand-wind, which is better. And also hacking, so, easy to set within a minor fraction of a second of true.I hand-wound it full once, right at the start. After 1 day it had gained 7 seconds; after 3 days, total gain peaked at 20 seconds; after 1 week, back to true; after 5 weeks, down minus 120 seconds. Which should mean that a full hand-wind every 10 days (or something) would keep it +/- 20 seconds of true indefinitely. Though would also increase wear and tear. Sure to vary between samples, and over time. I always wear mechanicals 200 full days before considering re-regulation.Screw-down crown with possibly user-replaceable O-ring bodes well for water resistance. Which I haven't tested; will update when I do. Bezel is sharp. Sharper than I expected…I think the top corner edge could actually saw wood. Not sharp enough to cut skin or anything though. The only serious design flaw I found in the entire watch is the bezel action. It's unidirectional like for a dive function, but should be bidirectional since it's timezone. It's 120-click like for a 60-minute or 12-hour function, but should be exactly 48 since it's timezone (or at least a multiple of 48 for 24-hour). The existing bezel action makes it impossible to accurately indicate any of the 18 regions whose timezone difference includes a half hour. It has visible freeplay, but it shouldn't. And the detention-spring is too weak, so the bezel time is too easily unset by accident. The existing bezel action cannot be relied upon for serious applications. I guess that's actually 4 flaws. The bezel action would have cost it a star if it hadn't been made up for by the low price.Lume seems harder to charge than most of my other watches — ambient indoor window/artificial light doesn't seem to do it. So, left in the watch case all day, at night one slot is darker than others. But there seems to be a flipside: if I flash it with my cheap UV pocket flashlight for a few seconds just after lastlight, it's not only as big and bright as any of my other watches (as well as attractively bluer), but actually lasts longer, so I can still see it before first light, unlike most of my other watches. So, harder to charge, but also harder to discharge? Interesting. Like the GMT Master, the bezel has no lume at 0; I don't prefer that about the GMT Master.Overall, I kinda feel like I underpaid for all this watch…a novel feeling. I look forward to seeing how it holds up.I am very impressed by this watch. I won't go into too many details since there are a lot of really good reviews of this watch, my favorite being from the channel Just One More Watch on YouTube, but there are many other good ones. From my experience this watch is phenomenal. I bought it mostly as a fun piece but it has become my favorite watch. The GMT function has made it really useful for me. I work in information technology and often have to look at log files that are time stamped in UTC. Having UTC on my watch makes it very easy to compare times. The accuracy of this watch has been amazing. In the seven days that I have been wearing it the watch has lost an average of half a second. It has varied a little bit but never been more than a few seconds fast or slow. The rates I measured have been between -3.9 and +5.9 seconds on the extreme ends again averaging -.5 seconds. This is actually within the COSC chronometer specifications as I understand them (this watch is not COSC certified, that process requires a lot more rigorous testing). Over seven days I have not had to reset the time on my watch once. This watch is very well made. In fact it is a better watch than my similarly priced Casio (though the Casio has Multiband 6 and Tough Solar technologies which drive the price up a bit). No plastic anywhere on the watch. No brass in the case either. Everything is stainless steel, ceramic, or sapphire glass. (There are a few brass parts in the movement but that is to be expected. In addition, the models with red on the bezel apparently have aluminum bezel inserts, I can't speak to this because mine is all black.)The bracelet is very well made. While it has a bit more give in the links than a Rolex, it feels very sturdy and secure. The links are screwed in instead of pressure fit, a nice touch. The polishing on the center links isn't mirror quality, but it looks nice still.I have read that the bezel was recently upgraded on these watches. Originally it has a loose 60 click rotating bezel. This one is upgraded with a very tight fitting 120 click bezel. There is a tiny bit of rotational play but it is barely detectable. The ceramic bezel insert looks very nice as well, having a kind of dark "graphite" color to it. It goes well with the watch face, but is clearly ceramic (a very good thing, I like the way it looks). The numbers are well engraved, looking much nicer on mine than in some pictures I have seen online. Maybe that has been upgraded as well? The numbers are white, whether that is paint or something else I don't know. The movement is beautiful. It isn't marked which movement it has, which is concerning. However, the decoration on the movement is far and above better than anything I have seen in the price range. Sure there could be more decoration, but it is impressive what they were able to do!The lume is extremely good on this watch. It out performs other watches I have from Casio and Timex, though I haven't compared it to anything higher end. Yesterday, for example, I wore it indoors all day and went for a 30 minute walk under overcast skies, not ideal conditions for charging lume. This morning, six hours after going to bed, I was still able to see the hands clearly. This is typical performance for this watch. I am very impressed with the lume. The crown was different from the one shown. This one is longer with smaller fluting. Serviceable without getting in the way, but it is different. It is a screw down crown that has a very tight fitting gasket. There is no doubt to me that it will keep water out.Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I am already looking for my next Pagani Design watch after this experience! This watch is a great value for what you're paying, there really is a lot going for it. My example has a great fit and finish, and functions flawlessly out of the box. I'd say as long as you aren't expecting "R" brand quality here, you'll be very happy with this purchase. A massive bonus is having the synthetic sapphire crystal face at this price point. The cyclops magnifier is centered perfectly over the date. Lume is pretty decent, I can charge it before bed and still see barely see it when I wake up the next morning. GMT hand is set independent and keeps accurate time as it should. Watch does have hacking feature. The overall quality here hits well above its cost. After 3 days, my watch runs roughly 15 seconds fast (~5 seconds per day). The movement is a bit noisy; I can hear it if I'm in a dead-quiet room. The arrow on the bezel is just barely a hair off of center of 12 o-clock, but I'm nit-picking here. Overall, I'm very pleased with the watch for this price and will probably buy more Pagani Design watches in the future for every day, carefree wear.Gains 4 seconds a day. Pretty good for a watch in this price range. Looks amazing.Received exactly what I expected. As close as possible to the real thing with few differences to avoid legal issues. It's worth the price for this quality but don't expect you're going to get R#$%x quality or automatic machine for couple of hundreds dollars. I like PAGANI logo as it's clever. Simple G design that looks elegant and not big. Lume is almost non-existent except for 2-3 minutes. The crown is screw in but different than the original style. Second hand is actually identical to AP watches not R#$%x. There is quite a bit of play when setting the time but its expected. This watch comes with Chinese machine which is acceptable at this price. Inside the dial frame, don't have the engraving as the original. I love the watch and expect to enjoy it for few years to come. Bracelet as close to the real thing but I played with it and installed a blue NATO strap for fun. The polishing and brushed finish Great no question there. 40mm Diameter and feels Heavy. 5 star indeed.El reloj es mas hermoso de lo que las fotografias puede apreciarse, justo lo que estaba buscando en esta pieza. Gracias.Este reloj me encanto esta fabricado con calidad lo recomiendo buena relación precio calidadDos not keep the time 5 minutes every hour and screw pins for links are strip!!Wanted to like the watch but the chinese mechanism is poorexcellent watch, for the price, works like a charm...!!!!bracelet band is great watch is awesome!!!!
